We are ending 2021 with a bang, ever since Marvel Studios started releasing their movies on the big screen. This October, I was able to experience Marvel's Venom 2: Let there be carnage & Shang-Chi: Legend of the ten rings.
Jio's MAMI YRP [Mumbai Film Festival] made it possible for us to attend Marvel's Eternals first pre-screening on the 31st of October, 2021. The movie is set to release soon, on the 5th of November, 2021 and it has made a commotion already.Since the movie hasn't been released yet, we are NOT allowed to post spoilers. but here are some moments and plot points that I feel are worth writing about.
The Plot
Eternals basically follows the story of eternal beings [The Eternals] that were born on the planet Olympus, with the sole motive to protect the human race from 'monsters' [Deviants] that are on a spree to destroy human life. They serve the supreme being known as Arishem who communicates with them through a glowing sphere that lives inside of their leader, Ajak. The only rule they have to follow is: To not interfere with human life until the deviants were involved. The Eternals were supposed to leave earth and head back to their home planet after they destroyed all the deviants. However, it has been over 5000 years, and they still haven't been summoned to return. The Eternals have been living among us, disguised as regular human beings, the only difference being, they do not age.
An encounter with a deviant that seems different than the ones they knew of, changes everything.
Altogether, it is a beautiful movie with a good plot and a strong portrayal of characters, in my opinion.
The Surprises
These are NOT spoilers, since they have already been revealed at some point on social media pages, including the trailers and MAMI's YRP Facebook page.

The General Reviews
The general reviews seem rather unfavorable towards the movie as a whole, and every second person claims for it to not do that well, right from the trailers. I would recommend each person to go see the movie to decide for themselves, as these are pretty subjective.
Such a beautiful article!! Keep up the reviews!!
